Toneelleesklub ("playreading club") was the Afrikaans name for the Dramatic Entertainments section of the Bloemfontein Literary and Scientific Society (founded in 1877). (Also referred to as the Toneelleesgroep, i.e. "playreading group" on occasion.)

An off-shoot of the Winter Evenings Entertainments first held in April 1875, the society itself was defunct by 1890, but was to be a fore-runner of the later, longer enduring, Bloemfontein Shakespeare Circle.
