(1932-2005). Expatriate South African dramatist, short-story writer and journalist. Born in Pietersburg, he was a contributor to Drum magazine before taking up a post with the BBC in London in 1958. Author of the one-act plays The Opportunity (1968), The Prosecution, Where the Sun Shines and The Hammer and the Nail. Also wrote the long running TV series, The Chief, under the pseudonym “Arthur Mogale”.
