(known as Nomabali), (1943-) Author, poet, playwright, story-teller, actor, and inspirational speaker. Born on the 27th August 1943 in Umtata, South Africa [Has a doctorate from ***, and worked at the United Nations ??** Retired from the United Nations and relocated to her home country, South Africa in 2006?*]. As playwright, she wrote VUKANI! An Aids play that has been performed in Colleges, Churches, and theatres in the United States. Besides this has published widely, including poetry, two autobiographical works, collections of shorts stories, 18 children's books and a novel, Mother to Mother, on the life of Amy Biehl (shortlisted for numerous awards).
