Dêm... Die Intolerance ( "Damn... The Intolerance") is a 1995 comedy by Ivan Sylvester (as Ivan L Sylvester).
"...the current intolerance amongst the political parties, organisations and certain individuals and how this affects us at grassroot level ... written in the Cape Flats dialect which consist of both the Afrikaans and English languages." (Programme note by the playwright, 1995).

1995: Staged at the KKNK by the Cape Flats Players as the company's 21st anniversary production, directed by Ivan Sylvester, featuring Volenté Booysen (Rachel), Sandra Braaf (Adri), Edwina Fransman (Mona), Angelita Jansen (Mary), Brenda Sylvester (Lottie), Cohen Jacobs (Nicky), Allistair Pienaar (Freddie), Julie van As (Kathy) and Eben Sauls (Sammy).
