First performance November 14, 1799 at the Theatre Royal Covent Garden in 1799. The libretto (with the subtitle “A Musical Entertainment, in Two Acts “ credited to T.Knight), published by G.G. and J. Robinson, 1799, the score by Mazzinghi and Reeve published by T. Woodfall, 1799,
