1852 Performed in Dutch as De Minnaar op den Proef, of Het Zonderlinge Tweegevecht by Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst on 12 August in the Breestraat Skouburg, Cape Town, as afterpiece to De Kluizenaar op Formentera(Von Kotzebue).
