Performance history in South Africa
The English translation by Michael Roloff directed for CAPAB by Dieter Reible in 1981. Performed at the Nico Malan Theatre from 27 June to 11 July 1981, starring Paul Slabolepszy (Kaspar); Ronald France, Roger Dwyer, Neville Thomas, Clare Stopford (four voices); Christo Potgieter, Russel Savadier (two Kaspars). Set and costumes devised by Raimond Schoop, lighting by Brian Kennedy.
