A comic thriller in 2 acts by Geraldine Aron.

The original text

Originally commissioned by New York’s Origin Theatre and performed by Rosemary Fine as short monologue as part of Spinning the Times (directed by M. Burke Walker), an evening of monologue plays by Irish writers by the Company, presented as part of the 1st Irish Festival. Each of the five writers was tasked with creating a monologue specifically for this show, based on a story plucked out of the New York news media - Aron chose to focus on celebrity obsession, so her play deals with the psychological unraveling of a would-be murderess who becomes convinced that her famous rock-star employer should be liberated from his marriage.

As the monologue was well received, the playwright developed a full length, two act, version of the play which was first performed as part of Fallen Angel Theatre Company's 2012 Reading Series at The Irish Repertory Theatre, New York in June 2012 (directed by Rachel Pickup, with Rufus Collins and Aedin Moloney).

The text is still unpublished.
