A sentimental Dutch play by an anonymous author.

A play about the triumph of virtue. A young girl who runs away with an unsuitable man and is chased by her father and a noble suitor, who saves the father's life and wins the girl. Published in 1794.

1835: Produced in Dutch by the Het Tooneellievend en Vereenigd Muzyk Gezelschap (with the motto Door Yver Vruchtbaar) in Stellenbosch on 7 March, with De Brandschatting (Von Kotzebue) as afterpiece The performance was a charity event for the wounded of the Border War.
