A Dutch translation of Der Wirrwarr, oder der Muthwillige (1804), a farce in 5 acts by August von Kotzebue. (Wrongly cited as Der Muthwillige, oder Der Wirrwarr by F.C.L. Bosman, 1928: p.79)

Translated into Dutch as De Moetwillige Jongen by an anonymous author.

Performance history in South Africa

17 July and 24 July 1802 performed, possibly in Dutch, in the African Theatre, Cape Town by Het Hoogduitsche Toneel-Gezelschap (also called the Liefhebbers van het Toneel en het Muziekgezelschap), along with Der Wildfang (Kotzebue).

8 April, 1826: performed in Dutch in Cape Town by the children's company Tot Oefening en Smaak, probably directed by Joseph Suasso de Lima.
