(19**-) Scottish Policeman, city councellor and part-time sound man.

Biography

Born in Scotland, he traveled extensively worldwide, spending a period in South Africa (1972-1973), working in theatre.

Became Police Inspector in the City of Glasgow Police, Strathclyde Police, Northern Constabulary. A a Community Councillor in several areas over the years, his other activities at various times include being the Chair of Crossroads Lochaber, Ballachulish Community Council, a member the Scottish Hydro Electric Northern committee, and co-ordinator of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme for several years in Lochaber.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

During his time in South Africa, Waugh was a part-time sound man in the Intimate Theatre at Rissik Street in Johannesburg (1972/73). Worked on Don't start without me (1972), Just Libby (1973), and Wait until it is Dark (1973).
