("Hope and Loyalty). Dutch amateur company founded in 1848, probably from the remnants of Tot Nut en Vermaak en Door Yver Vruchtbaar. In 1849, the name was changed to Tot Oefening en Vermaak, which virtually coincided with the birth of yet another company, Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst, which was probably a dissident faction from within Hoop en Trouw.
