Born in Peterborough, England. He played most of the leading theatres in the U.K. and did TV shows, including Sunday Night at the London Palladium. This led to a tour of countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa. He fell in love with South Africa, the people and its climate. He worked all the theatres and TV shows and remained here for twenty years. Roles in NAPAC's Robinson Crusoe, 1981, PACT's Chicago, Cheaters, Michael Pertwee’s Sextet at the André Huguenet Theatre in 1990, Ray Cooney’s Uproar in the House at the André Huguenet Theatre in 1992, ***. Met and married his wife Patti Andrews in South Africa and in 1996 they left South Africa to try their luck in the USA. There performed in It Runs in the Family (1997), **
