Biography
Born in Wesselsbron, matriculated in Sasolburg. He died on 16 November 2001.
Training
Graduated from the University of the Free State Drama Department, 1970.
Career
He worked for PACOFS from 1971 till 1974. He joined the teaching staff of the University of the Free State Drama Department in 1975 until his death in 2001.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
His last appearance on stage was in Waaihoek in October 2001.
He directed Post Mortem in 1999.
Awards, etc
He received the Piers Nicholson Award for his contribution to theatre development in the Free State in 1995. He was nominated for an AA Vita Award for best comedy actor in The Student Prince, 1998.
