by Athol Fugard. A play about two meetings between the young aspiring writer and actor Athol Fugard and the South African theatre legend, André Huguenet. The action of the play is set in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town between 1956 and 1961.

First produced by The Fountain Theatre, Los Angeles in 2004, directed by Stephen Sachs. First published by David Philip, 2005.

Performance history in South Africa

The first South African production by the Baxter Theatre Centre, Cape Town in 2005, directed by Janice Honeyman, with Sean Taylor as the young playwright and Jason Ralph as Huguenet. The designer was Saul Radomsky and the lighting designer Mannie Manim.
