Guinea Fowl: Images of Africa, by Ian Roberts. Ultimately a parallel to human life, Guinea Fowl is the story of five birds and how man treats and destroys them.

Performance history in South Africa

First performance on 10 March 1981, a Peoples' Space production directed by Richard Grant. The cast: Henry Goodman as Dada , Fiona Ramsay (Memi), Bryoni Mortimer (Moni), Fred Abrahamse (Preki), Lammie Shoba, Neil McCarthy, Joko Scott, Ian Roberts. Set design and construction by Fred Abrahamse, movement Henry Goodman, costume design Birrie le Roux.

Directed by Roberts, featuring Patric Ndlovu, at the National Arts Festival Fringe, 1999.
