Also known as FTH:K, this is a theatre and education company set up to that develop Deaf and hearing performer-creators. It has Deaf schools programmes, an Integrated Deaf/Hearing Professional Development Programme, and ddoes professional theatre productions through its Deaf / hearing visual theatre company. It ultimately aims to establish the country’s first Deaf and hearing physical performance training centre in Cape Town. Its productions include the Deaf/ Hearing production Gumbo (2006) and their first all-Deaf show Ek Roep Vir Jou Vanaand (2009, ). It prepares deaf and hearing learners for entrance into both the professional industry and the company itself through the ground-breaking "Tell-Tale Signs Project" which includes schools training programmes as well as programmes that are designed to facilitate the integration of deaf learners into the South African performing arts, Awarded the ACT Cultural Development Project Award for 2005.
