The English name formerly used by English-s0peaking South Africans and internationally to refer to a member of the San people in Southern Africa. Derived from the original Dutch word "bosjesman" and the Afrikaans word Boesman, a name give to the San tribes by Dutch settlers, since these people lived among the "bosjes" (bushes).
