Die Ermelose Dramatiese Vereniging ("The Ermelo Dramatic Society"), Ermelo. An Afrikaans theatrical society, founded in the late 1930s, to "draw people with farces, then move on to serious theatre" (according to a 1939 letter from the secretary). The first committee consisted of A.P van den Berg, J. van Rensburg, Miss A. de Villiers, Mrs M.Enslin, A.H. Potgieter, T. Jooste, and H.N. Roux.
