An cultural organization associated with the Black Consciousness Movement in the 1970s, with the following goals:
(a) to help the Black community become aware of its own identity, (b) to help the Black community create a sense of its own power; (c) to enable the Black community to organise itself, (d) to analyse its own needs and problems and (e) to revitalise its resources to meet its needs
One of its projects was the publication of the journal Black Review.
