Produced in English (as Romeo and Jeanette, translated by Miriam John) by NTO in 1960, directed by Suzanne van Wyk, starring Ria Olivier and {Robert Mohr]] in the Bellville Civic Centre, and by PACT in 1963 (directed by Richard Daneel, starring Fiona Fraser, Bess Finney, Arthur Hall, Siegfried Mynhardt and others).
