The Jar, (La Giara (1909), originally a short story) by Luigi Pirandello (1867-1936). The storyline offers a Sicily of sunshine, countryside, song and eccentrics.

In South Africa the play was produced by PACOFS in 1974, directed by Jannie Gildenhuys starring, Wim Vorster, Neels Coetzee, George Barnes, and Alison Marquard.
