Royal Hunt of the Sun by Peter Schaffer. A lavish play about the Spanish conquest of the Incas. First produced 1964. First produced in South Africa for PACT by Leonard Schach in 1981, featuring Marius Weyers and Keith Grenville in the leads. Others in the cast include David Horner, John Hussey, Bobby Heaney, Michael McCabe, Bill Flynn, Rika Sennett, Ronald Wallace, Alan Swerdlow, Nigel Vermaas, Anthony James and Pamela Gien. It was the opening English production in the new Pretoria State Theatre.
