Performed in the African Theatre, Cape Town by the Garrison Players on 28th June, 1802, in celebration of the His majesty’s birthday, by special request as afterpiece to The Little Hunchback, or A Frolic in Bagdad (O’Keeffe), the ballet-pantomime The Cunning Wife, or The Lover in the Sack and, by special request, The Devil to Pay (Coffey) as afterpiece.
