Henry Dunbar or A Daughter's Trial by Tom Taylor (1817-1880). A melodrama in four acts, performed with great success by Disney Roebuck in the Bijou Theatre in August and September 1875. Miss Berenger was praised by critics for her role as the good but unhappy daughter. The play is performed again on 18 April 1876 in the Athenaeum Hall (produced by C. Wilstone) and by Disney Roebuck in December 1877, April 1878 in the Theatre Royal after his return from England. It was staged again by Henry Harper during the 1880s, then lessee and manager of the Theatre Royal.
