(17**-18**) One of the original 24 shareholders, to whom a section of the Boereplein was donated for the building of a theatre, which became The African Theatre. Appointed by Sir George Yonge when granting the land for the proposed theatre. From 1803 to at least 1809 he was also the treasurer of The African Theatre.
