HEPBURN, Shirley. (19*-) Actress. ** Performed in The Light of Heart by Emlyn Williams for the REPS in 1943. Directed by Taubie Kushlick. She starred in Sandy Wilson’s The Boy Friend which was staged at the Brooke Theatre in May 1957. Also starring June Hern, Ivan Berold, Maureen Adair and Bruce Anderson with sets and costumes by Pamela Lewis and Heather MacDonald-Rouse, and piano played by Gertrude Walsh, who also conducted. She played the title role in Auntie Mame, Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee’s adaptation of Patrick Dennis’s book which Taubie Kushlick directed at the Brooke in 1965. Adam Leslie did costumes. She had a daughter Moonyeen Lee. * **(Tucker, 1997)
