LOCHNER, Jacques. (19**-) Actor. ** Started out as a member of the Barend Fourie Geselskap, an Afrikaans touring company which began its tour in Caledon on 6 April 1934, playing Sy Pa se Skuld ("His Father's Fault/Debt") by D.P. du Toit. Other members of the company were Ria Olivier and Joan de Villiers, playing under the names Jac or "Lokkie". Went on to become a regular member of the Hendrik Hanekom Geselskap, which he joined in 1935, to take over the role of "Danie" in Oom Paul. He remained with them till the mid 1940s. **
