KEMP-WELCH, Joan. (19*-) British director. ** She directed the Toerien-Firth Compnay production of Terence Rattigan’s Cause Célèbre starring Mary Millar and William Lucas in 1978. It ran at the André Huguenet Theatre for nine months. She directed the Toerien-Firth Company production of Royce Ryton’s The Unvarnished Truth starring Anthony Fridjohn, Michael Richard, Nicholas Ellenbogen and Lynne White at the Intimate Theatre in 1979. ***(Tucker, 1997)
