JENKINS, Myesha. (19*-) Poet, singer, writer. Born in the USA, she immigrated to South Africa in 1993, to work in community development. Her poetry has appeared in Timbila, Botsotso, Kotaz, and in the magazines, Tribute and True Love and the City Press LifeStyle. She has also published in Insight: Six South African Poets. In 2003 she became a co-founder of The Feela Sistah! Spoken Word Collective and in 2004 they created and performed This is Not An Intellectual Experience.
