GREIG, Robert. (1948-) Poet, journalist and critic. A keen and influential theatre critic, he has worked for a variety of newspapers, including the Eastern Province Herald, **. His reviews of the Grahamstown Festival productions have been especially influential over the years. In 1976 he won the Pringle Award for journalism. ** In 2009 he joined the staff of the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department as a part-time lecturer on South African drama.
