DU PREEZ, Petrus. ** Actor, director, lecturer and playwright. Born in Wellington, studied drama and communication studies at the University of the Orange Free State, then did post-graduate (M.Dram, D.Phil) in drama at the University of Stellenbosch, where he was also a research assistant, lecturer and tutor. As an actor has performed in a variety of professional shows, including the annual Mainardville Shakespeares, done adverts and fills for television. Wrote and directed numerous plays for schools and university use, including *** Roles in Slaghuis (Willem Anker, 2006),
