by Tania van Zyl. A one-act play in a mix of prose and poetry, set in a futuristic world and dealing with the erosion of law and order and its replacement with a set of arbitrary rules. It tells of of Rachel, who comes to seek sanctuary with a people long settled in comfort and complacency, who are then disturbed by and reject her. Published in Contrast Vol 3 No 3, March, 1965.
