All That's Left: Four Playscripts (Volume 4 of the Selected Plays series) is a collection of plays by Gibson Kente.
The collection
The collection, made up of four surviving scripts from the more than 60 productions he had written, set in the tumultuous years leading up to the 1976 Soweto Uprising. The collection features the following texts:
Sikalo: The only play in the volume based on Kente's authentic original script.Lifa: Put together from memory by the actors after Kente's passing.How Long: A reconstructed script recalled by his theatre troupe.Too Late: A reconstructed script that captures the energy of Kente's banned theatrical eras.The book contains detailed introductions and rare, surviving photographs of the original stage scenes.
