My Naam is Dingetjie (lit. "my name is little whatchamacallit") is an Afrikaans film by Dirk de Villiers (1924-2009).
BEING WRITTEN
Referred to as a "Boerewors-western", it is the first in the "Dingetjie" series of comedies, inspired by the Terence Hill and Bud Spencer "spaghetti westerns", the second being Dingetjie is Dynamite! (October, 1975).
Released in South Africa on May 1975.
