A political play about two white brothers on opposites sides of the political spectrum in Apartheid South Africa.
First performed at the Grahamstown Festival presented by Bold Productions in July 1989. Published by Tafelberg in 1990 and winner of the Fleur du Cap Award for Best New Indigenous Script 1990.

Performance history in South Africa
1989: Produced by Bold Productions, the play had its première at the Grahamstown Festival in July. Directed by the author and starring Nico Liebenberg (as "Adriaan"), Bruce Fields ("Daantjie"), Wilna Snyman ("Fransie", the mother), Eghard van der Hoven ("Christiaan", the father), Gert van Niekerk ("Gerhard") and Embeth Davidtz ("Antoinette").
1990: This production was subsequently presented by PACT, PACOFS, NAPAC and CAPAB at various venues in the country with some changes in the cast, with Albert Maritz ("Adriaan") and Kim de Beer ("Antoinette"), in the place of Liebenberg and Davidtz.
