Aesop's Fables, or the Aesopica, is a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and storyteller who lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BCE.
Translations and adaptations
An adaptation by Isango Ensemble was created and performed in 2010.
Performance history in South Africa
2010: Staged at the Fugard Theatre. Directed by Mark Dornford-May. Co-Music Director and arranger/composer Mandisi Dyantyis.
