The Broomhill Opera Company (also referred to simply as Broomhill Opera) was funded by Mark Dornford-May with musical director Charles Hazelwood.

History

The company's first residence David Salomons House. Broomhill Opera relocated to Wilton's Music Hall in 1998 and were responsible for first stage repairs to the hall to allow limited performances.

Productions in South African

South African productions include The Mysteries – Yiimimangaliso (a South African interpretation of the Chester Mystery Plays), U-Carmen, Ibali Ioo Tsotsi (a South African interpretation of John Gay’s 1728 The Beggar’s Opera)
