Lesley Marx (19**-). Lecturer, film and theatre critic.
She lectured in, and later served as head of, the English Department at the University of Cape Town,followed by stints as the Deputy Dean in the new Faculty of Humanities and Founding Director of the Centre for Film and Media Studies.
She taught and published on literature, film and topics in South African and American culture.
