New Wave Theatre Group (NWTG) was a theatre group based in Johannesburg.
History
In 1998, Deon Opperman established the New Wave Theatre Group (NWTG), an independent theatre company and a home for SAFTDA/AFDA alumni to stage their first professional productions in their own theatre, the New Wave Theatre, in Milpark, Johannesburg before doing the circuit of the arts festivals and graduating into the arena of professional theatre.
