The Passion is an Easter play by Peter Krummeck (1947-2013).

Krummeck controversially turns Judas from the archetypal villain into a youthfully misguided yet likeable Zealot.

Performance history in South Africa

1983 and 1984. Performed as a St John's Parish Production[1], directed by Cindy Just, performed in the Baxter Foyer in 1983 and 1984. 1983 cast: Peter Krummeck, Brian Notcutt, Marcus Saville-Deane, Digby Dones, David Griffin, Land Middelkoop, Richard Hawkins, Paul Buckby, Saul Blaauw, Winston Fryer, Vic Houston, Mark Wilson, Jerry Dick, Colleen Thomas, Kirsten Klopper, Judy Corder.

1999: Performed by His People Christian Church[2] in the Baxter Foyer, April 1999.
