Albert Short is a computer programmer and author of songs and short stories.

Biography

born in Pretoria in 1973, went to work abroad in his youth and completed a degree in Psychology with a major in Criminology. He currently lives and works in Johannesburg.

His serious writing career started with two of his stories being read on RSG in 2009 (Grondpad and Die Doodskis), after which the writing bug bit him. He has continued to write since then, mostly about ghosts and other evils that lurk in the dark, because "a story with ghosts is like eating your food with chillies". His songs have been used in shows ("Amper" and "Buite lē die Nag") and heard on the radio. Albert was born in Pretoria in 1973, went to work abroad in his youth and completed a degree in Psychology with a major in Criminology. He currently lives and works in Johannesburg.
