Gisele Turner is a teacher, performer, director and playwright.

Biography

Born in England to French parents Gisele Turner was brought up in Zimbabwe and has lived in South Africa since 1973.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

In the 1980s she performed in plays like How the Other Half Loves, Franky and Raggett, Dusa, Fish, Stas and Vi and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and directed I Have No! in 1984.

Author of Woof Woof (2011), eLimboland (Chosen as best stage play script at the Writers' Guild of SA Muse Awards, 2014).
