Richard Rees (?-). Educator, amateur actor and director.

Biography

Richard Rees attended Selborne College in East London. For several years, he taught at Hudson Park High School in East London.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Throughout his teaching career, he produced annual school productions, including Toad of Town Hall and Camelot.

He also appeared in several productions in East London, including Something's Afoot (1981), Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood (1988).

Awards, etc

In 1999, he received the Premier's Award for his work in theatre.
