Papers Past is a New Zealand based digital archive, with a large collection of newspapers, journals and magazines published in New Zealand and the Pacific Rim during the 19th and 20th centuries.

A good source for reviews of plays also seen in South Africa.

Performap.com

Performap.com is an Interactive Digital Map of Global Theatre and Performance Festivals developed by TheTheatreTimes.com, a global theatre portal. With hundreds of festivals browsable and searchable by festival location, type, and date, Performap is the first extensive digital index of its kind in the field, built expressly for artists, audiences, critics, scholars, festival organizers, curators, and presenters from around the world. Performap also includes reports written by local writers and traveling reporters published by The Theatre Times

The PRISMA website

PRISMA: 'n Afrikaanse Kultuurbedryfdatabasis ("PRISMA: An Afrikaans cultural cultural industry database") documents the contributions people have made to the Afrikaans cultural system and industry, with specific focus on literature, film, television, theatre and music. A project in progress, it is regularly updated. Listing work by all contributors, it also utilizes interactive graphs, statistics etc.

Created and managed by Burgert A. Senekal Burgert Senekal of the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein.

A section of the online The Guide to World Drama this is an on-line guide detailing the works of major dramatists, complete with a brief synopsis of some of their published works.

Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg is an open access, online archive of digitized cultural works, created in 1971 by the American writer Michael S. Hart to "encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks". The oldest digital library in the world, it contains over 57,000 documents, with most of the items in its collection being full texts of public domain books.
