White Horse Inn or The White Horse Inn (German Im weißen Rößl) [1] is an 1897 operetta/musical comedy by Ralph Benatzkyn (1884–1957) [2] and Robert Stolz (1880–1975) [3].

1963: Staged by the Port Elizabeth Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

1968: Staged by the Queenstown Theatrical Society, produced by Agnes Wormald, musical direction by Susan du Plessis, choreography by Val Rowles.

196*: Staged by the Bloemfontein Reps in Bloemfontein???

1972: Staged in the Nico Malan Theatre by CAPAB, directed by Roy Sargeant, conducted by Neil Feiling and choreographed by Jennifer Craig, with Joy Macnab (Kathi), Robert Bank/Marlon Stoltzman/Christopher Thorburn (Karl), Maria van der Vyver (Zenzi), Craig Curtis (Courier), Harold Levetan (Franz), Donald Pilley/Stephen Tudor (Leopold), Sarita Stern (Fr Josepha), Douglas Lind (Captain), Blaise Koch (Bridegroom), Jenny Leventhal (Bride), Raymond Davies (John), Virginia Oosthuizen (Ottoline), Gwilym Evans (Valentine), Angelo Gobbato (Sigismund), Peter Terry (Prof Henzel), Evelyn Dalberg (Gretel), Simon Swindell (Mayor), Jill Kidwell (Secretary) and Elliot Playfair (Emperor). Decor by Roy Cooke and costumes by Aubrey Couling.

1984: Presented by the Arts Theatre Club at the East London Guild Theatre, directed by Mary Kockott, musical direction by Izak Bellingan, choreography by Margie Panhofer. With Myrtle Jones, Tim Raven, John Hubbard, Mike Ormston, Grahame Archer, Denise Archer, Brian Cook, Shirlene Bellingan, Barry West, Mike Lindley, Irene Kranidiotis, Karl Gilbert, George Mountjoy, Kelly Stocks, Fran Hollingworth.
