Dusk is a play by Mark Scheepers.

The original text

A play about an older white woman who had privilege and has lost much of it and a younger black man who had very little, but is now realising his potential Both have been traumatised in their own ways and are linked by history and overlapping relationships.

Performance history in South Africa

2021: Performed at The Market Theatre, Johannesburg, in the week from 6–29 August , directed by Palesa Mazamisa with Loyiso McDonald and Michelle Douglas. Lighting design was done by Josias Mashiane, props and set design by Karabo Legoabe-Mtshali, costume design by Busisiwe Nkabinde, sound design by Mandla Mkaba and stage management by Tiisetso Mwane-Madzhie.
