Iago's Last Dance is a trilogy of playlets individually entitled Heartbreak Medea, Iago's Last Dance and Valiant Spartacus by Mike van Graan.

The original text

The theme is betrayal and vengeance set against the backdrop of the "three-letter plague" - HIV/AIDS. Three actors play a different character in each play, moving from betrayal within a marriage to betrayal of friendship and, finally, betrayal by the larger society. All the playlets reference classical texts but their power lies in their contemporary relevance.
