by Peter Braaf and the cast from the Cape Flats Players. A workshopped play on racial discrimination and oppression during the Apartheid regime. Contains a strong element of Black resistance and police brutality against the oppressed. Set to play in Schotsekloof in the Bo-Kaap to the UDF supporters in 1985, it was banned and the police refused to give them entry to the allocated venue on the night of performance. Eventually performed by the Cape Flats Players in 1986, and often thereafter. (See Smith, 1990; January, 1997)
