The original text
Originally titled Rats! it consists of three poeces threaded together by a theme of greed
First performed with this title at the Auto & General Theatre on the Square as part of the Arts Alive Festival in 2013, directed by Sylvaine Strike and starring Lionel Newton. The pieces performed a rendition of Robert Browning’s famous poetic account of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, a satirical look at the colonial legacy by Nick Warren. The final piece, Jasmine’s Jewel by Lionel Newton.
